Wondering why you’re stuck announcing MAC games on ESPN2?

Probably because you keep referring to Central Michigan as Michigan. Also, mentioning about how the commentators, aka yourself, are just idiots (in regards to not understanding a coach’s call) probably doesn’t help either.

Scrabble on ESPN

There has to be something other than scrabble that ESPN could have on at 3 PM on a Sunday. Maybe if scrabble was on ESPN2 I could understand a little more. Or maybe if it was the National Scrabble Finals, like the Spelling Bee, it would merit being televised. As I type this, Lindsay asks “Isn’t there football on?”

ESPN Reporters Favorite Word

SWAGGER

“The act or manner of a swaggerer; To walk with a swaying motion; hence, to walk and act in a pompous, consequential manner; To boast or brag noisily; to be ostentatiously proud or vainglorious; to bluster; to bully “

If I have to hear Kirk Herbstreit or Lee Corso or any other ESPN analyst/reporter use the word swagger, well I don’t know what I’m going to do. It could only be worse to hear something along the lines of

“Tim Tebow jacked up that team with all his swagger”

Also, this isn’t helping:

Brett Favre Tears ACL

Wouldn’t that be great? ESPN wouldn’t have to spend 1/3 of the show covering the latest Brett Favre controversy.

Brett Favre, retire, quit, injured

He was a great player, he should have gone out on top, and stayed there. I used to pull for old Brett, but now I’m just hoping for a quick season, or career, ending injury. Enough already.
