Apple’s Coolness Factor
I’m sure this has been asked before, but what are all the “cool hipster Mac” people going to do when Macs are no longer the trendsetting niche they currently are and become the mainstream computer? It won’t be cool or indidualistic to have the same Mac that everyone and their brother has.

Push Click Pens
No office should ever stock pens that you have to push to use. These are annoying in meetings where everyone has one and is anxiously clicking the pen back and forth.

Waterproof Cellphone
Given that basically everyone knows at least two people who have dropped their cell phone in the toilet (or other body of water) – why don’t cell phone manufacturers make all of their phones waterproof?
Yes yes, you can buy the construction phone that’s water resistant, shock resistant, and impact resistant too. But where is straight waterproofing for everyone’s phone? I don’t want the click to talk crazy looking construction phone.
In my opinion, someone is missing out on a huge market.

Drink Preference While Eating Spaghetti
I prefer to have milk when I eat spaghetti. If I get it at a restaurant, then I don’t get milk. But otherwise, I always have milk. I’ve been told that is odd. What do you drink with your spaghetti dinner?

Microsoft Outlook 2007 Arrange By Size
Found it humorus this morning when I had to clean out my inbox that if you sort your emails by size (right click the blue bar at the top of the listing that says “Arranged By”), they are catergorized into “Enormous”, ‘Huge”, “Very Large”, “Large”, “Medium”, “Small:”, and “Tiny” folders.

Feel free to insert Micheal Scott “That’s what she said” joke here.

Mini Ketchup Packets – WHY?
If you were a restaurant owner or ketchup maker, why would you package ketchup in 0.6 oz packets? Have you ever seen a customer take just one packet? No, they end up taking a handful and squirt them all over their tray so they can dip fries in them. Even if you only wanted 0.6 ounces worth of ketchup for your hamburger and you ask the drive-through attendant for ketchup, you know you’re getting a handful of packets.
Why do I care? It seems to be a big waste. Not only in costs and resources to make mini packets, but also in my time to have to open 6 packets to have enough for my fries.

How is Wendy’s Water So Good?
I’m not sure if it’s the extra wide straw, the wax coated cup, or the temperature of the water, but there is something amazing about a cup of water from Wendy’s. Perhaps it’s all three?
It can’t just be the temperature. I can replicate the same thing at home with tap water and ice. Although the temperature may be the least attributable to Wendy’s, this is by far the most important factor.
The cup’s wax coating seems to lend just a hint of flavor to the water. Perhaps not the healthiest, but good nonetheless.
The wide diameter straw is by far my favorite part. While other chains have started to widen the diameter of their straws, Wendy’s has always provided the largest. This allows maximum water flow.
Who knows, maybe it’s something else. But for me, a 16oz cup of water from Wendy’s is gone before you know it.

Verizon Commercial Music
Has anyone else noticed that at the end of most Verizon Wireless commercials, the music sounds an awful lot like the music from The Office ‘Local Ad’ commercial (not the one Michael made, but the corporate Big Box one)????

How is it not raining?
This system has moved from the southwest across the Detroit metro area since about 1 today (it’s now 5:15). There hasn’t been a moment where the red dot was not covered by green on the radar screen. How is it not raining?

Baseball Solves the 2009 Recession?
“. . . America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It’s been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball . . . “. Here’s hoping that the 2009 baseball season can see us out of the erasing and into the next rebuild.
